CYCLING TOURS FOR EVERY TASTE
The Pflerschtal Valley and its surroundings offer a lot of possibilities for cycling tours for every taste: whether with the mountain bike, the e-bike, or the road bike! Varied mountain roads, cycling paths, and forest roads are waiting to be explored by bike. A mountain bike tour to one of the surrounding alpine pastures in the middle of a beautiful mountain landscape, a trip on the cycling path, which leads from the Brenner pass to Lake Garda, or a panoramic tour on an old military road - one thing is for sure, it will not be boring! Who would like to do one of the more demanding cycling tours in the surroundings but is not sure if their physical fitness will allow it, can rend an e-bike right across the street from our holiday home and start from there! In the saddle, set, go!

Climbing

HIGH-ROPE COURSE AND VIA FERRATA IN THE WIPPTAL
Are you in the mood for an active day, adrenalin rush included? Then you need to visit the high-rope course Skytrek in Sterzing! Here, fun for old and young is guaranteed while moving from tree to tree. But that’s not all: In our surroundings, there are two via ferrata you can climb! The first, a little longer one called “Lampskopf” is located in the Pflerschtal Valley and leads up to the Tribulaunhütte. Also, the second, recently constructed via ferrata “Ölberg” should definitely not be missed. It is located in the Pfitschtal Valley. As here you can choose between more difficult and easier ways to the top, it is perfect for beginners as well as for experts and thanks to the amazing view of the valley, it’s worth a visit.

Golfing

FUN AT THE 7-HOLE COURSE AT THE GOLFCLUB STERZING
For the golfers among you, the Golfclub Sterzing has a lot to offer. The 7-hole-course below the two castles of Sterzing offers a lot of space to practice: here, advanced players can compete against each other on the flat course with many water obstacles, while beginners can learn to use the golf club. Also, the internationally recognized exam can be taken here. And the best about it: as we are a premium partner of the Golfclub in Sterzing, our guests can use the course for free! Is there anything better than spending a relaxed day playing golf on a deep green course in the middle of the mountains?

Rafting

ADVENTUROUS RIDES ON THE EISACK RIVER
Are you ready for an adventure? In that case, a rafting tour on the Eisack river is exactly what you need! The Tiger Rafting Team Sterzing with its trained rafting guides offers tours of different types – family-friendly, calmer ones as well as more demanding ones for an extra dose of adrenalin. Sitting in the boat facing the waves, currents, and rapids of the river is something very special and gives you the possibility to get to know nature from a new, very exciting perspective. A true adventure for everybody who is not afraid to jump into the cold water. An unforgettable holiday adventure for every age.

Hiking

BETWEEN MEADOWS AND SUMMIT CROSSES
The untouched mountain landscape of the Pflerschtal Valley is a true paradise for hikers of every age. The choice is so huge, you won’t want to return home. Go for a hike on the Dolomieu trail, which takes you from Ladurns to the Rosskopf mountain near Sterzing passing by six traditional mountain huts or to the end of the Pflerschtal Valley and enjoy not only the breathtaking nature but also some delicacies in the huts. The Waterfall Trail in Pflersch, on the other hand, is ideal for an easy hike with the whole family. The highlight of this hike? Hell! But don’t worry, neither hellfire nor eternal suffering are awaiting you here; it’s a 50m high, roaring waterfall! Talking about waterfalls: Not far from our holiday home, in a locality called Stange, which can be reached easily by car or public transport, there is another attraction for the whole family - the Gilfenklamm Gorge! During a hike that takes about two hours, on steps and bridges, you can follow the way, which the brook made for itself through the rock on its way to the valley. Along the roaring water flow, an adventurous hike is guaranteed.

Swimming

A DAY AT THE BALNEUM
Do you want to spend a relaxed day in a sun lounger? Enjoy the sun, swim, or relax in the jacuzzi? In that case, a visit to the Balneum is exactly what you need! In just a few minutes by car, you can reach the Balneum with its indoor and outdoor pools and there you can relax surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. The water lovers among you are going to have a lot of fun here because you have the choice between different indoor and outdoor pools – and of course, there is a kid’s area for the youngest guests! For this reason, the Balneum is a great alternative for days without mountain activities – whether the sun is shining or it’s raining.
